• Director of Engineering over the Applications Engineering Department.
• The Candidate MUST have experience in Directional Drilling, Motors, MWD and most other drilling Operations.
• Experience with Underbalanced and Air Drilling are a big plus, but not required.
• The successful Candidate for this position must have a well rounded background dealing with both the Technical and Management issues of the department.
• You must be able to manage and motive the group in order to hit company and divisional goals.

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contributing to the overall design, architecture, and build-out of network infrastructure
• Contributing to the overall design, architecture, and deployment of routing policies
• Coordinating tasks with internal groups for the timely and accurate delivery of projects

The position of Drilling Safety Manager will be based in Encinal, Texas zip code 78019. This position will oversee safety compliance for all land based drilling rigs employed by the Client. The cost of living would compare closely to San Antonio, Texas or Brownsville, Texas. The position will involve 40 hours of work per week with occasional travel to drilling locations. They are looking to hire as soon as possible.

DESCRIPTION:
- Position supervises 3 Safety Technicians
- Provides support in Health, Safety, & Environmental issues including but not limited to: program development, training development, hazard identification, incident investigation, performance measures and plan of actions.

REQUIREMENTS:
5 Yrs Equivalent Experience and at least 3 with the Oil and Gas Industry, Managerial Experience, Knowledge of EH&S practices
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT compliance,
H2S
Comfortable conducting presentations,
Diplomatic/team player
Computer knowledge of Office Windows
Relocate to Laredo, Texas

COMPENSATION:
Pays: $65,000 – $70,000 USD w/full benefit package

• Oversees facility infrastructure, building systems and services, safety and security programs, warehouse, building maintenance and modifications, building operation policies and procedures, facility planning, and management of staff
• Third party landlord relationships with assigned buildings
• Maintain interface with third party owners (Landlords), ensuring total contract compliance (the Lease), accurate and timely reporting, and resolve critical impact tenant relations issues
• Supervision of staff
• Scheduling of work assignments, hiring, training, counselling, conducting performance appraisals and terminating employees
• Prepare, submit, and manage property budgets
• Development and management of safety and security programs
• Quarterly review and analysis of all changes in state, federal, and/or local laws, rule, and regulations that would impact company – and the design, recommendation, and implementation of necessary policy or physical changes required to be in compliance
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities
• Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for property management services within assigned facility and geography
