Our Client is searching for a Senior Operations Manger to be located in Houston. The preferred Candidate must have USA experience and has led and managed large CAPEX projects especially within the last few years.

THE POSITION:
Reporting to the COO, the Senior Operations Manger will be responsible for directing, administering and coordinating the Engineering activities in accordance with the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
This responsibility includes all Engineering activity of the company including Regulatory & Environment, Exploitation & Optimization Engineering, Drilling, and Completions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in Petroleum Engineering
• Minimum of 15+ years experience
• MUST have USA experience
• Experience managing $100 + million dollar budgets
• Demonstrated ability to manage sizable projects.
• An Entrepreneurial spirit – willing to start at the beginning of the project with the bigger picture in mind
• A strategic thinker with the creativity and skill needed to work effectively with EPC’s competing for company projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directing and supervising through key managers the day-to-day activities
• Ensuring that effective systems, procedures, operational controls are established and maintained.
• Providing leadership and motivation to all personnel that fosters teamwork and creates a cohesive organization with the common objective of achieving established goals

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a Professional Engineer
• Must have 15+ years of sales experience
• Must have USA experience, preferably in the Houston market
• Must have experience in Mergers and Acquisitions experience
• Must be competent with evaluating Reservoirs
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Successful track record in a “hunter” sales role, finding and developing new business
• Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills, and computer skills
• Preference for Post Secondary Certificate/Diploma or Degree, and evidence of on going personal development in areas of sales, marketing and management

Our Client is looking for a Senior Technical Refinery Consultant to perform a wide range of services, including technical and economic evaluations of both projects and companies, strategic planning assistance, crude oil evaluations, market analysis, asset valuation and performance benchmarking and improvement studies.

Qualified candidates must have a degree in chemical engineering or another related discipline and will have at least ten to fifteen years of experience in the downstream oil industry.

Additionally, they will have gained technical and commercial experience in support of petroleum refining activities, typically in functions such as process engineering, feedstock/product supply and economics and planning. Applicants must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills and be self-motivated to perform at an exceptional level. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
