Our Client is searching for a Business Development Manager to be located in Houston. The preferred Candidate will be responsible for finding and developing opportunities in Mergers and Acquisitions

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a Professional Engineer
• Must have 15+ years of sales experience
• Must have USA experience, preferably in the Houston market
• Must have experience in Mergers and Acquisitions experience
• Must be competent with evaluating Reservoirs
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Successful track record in a “hunter” sales role, finding and developing new business
• Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills, and computer skills
• Preference for Post Secondary Certificate/Diploma or Degree, and evidence of on going personal development in areas of sales, marketing and management

Our Client is searching for a Senior Geologist with USA experience. The Candidate can be from either Canada or USA but must be legally entitled to work in the USA.

THE POSITION:
The Successful Candidate will be responsible for creating and extending Geological development concepts, plays and prospects in order to provide sustainable growth opportunities.
You will provide significant direction towards the Exploration and Exploitation efforts

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology
• Minimum of 8 – 15 years experience
• MUST have experience in USA and legally entitled to work in the USA
• Geological mapping experience is also mandatory.

THE CANDIDATE:
• Strong leadership skills
• Well developed communication and presentation skills sufficient to convey both factual and conceptual information require detailed explanation and interpretation in one-on-one and group settings
• Strong business acumen which includes applying strategic thinking along with innovative ideas and techniques to produce measurable results
• Proven ability to work in a team environment dealing with people from various disciplines to achieve goals, and ability to identify and resolve problems is a must

• Developing economically viable drilling programs annually, with significant exploration and development focus
• Provide geological input into the technical assessment and development in the company’s core producing area
• Develop a set of regional maps to understand controls on regional productive trends
• Assess land sales as well as potential farm-ins/farm-outs/acquisitions/divestitures
• Complete integration of geological and geophysical concepts/maps

THE POSITION:
Reporting to the COO, the Senior Operations Manger will be responsible for directing, administering and coordinating the Engineering activities in accordance with the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
This responsibility includes all Engineering activity of the company including Regulatory & Environment, Exploitation & Optimization Engineering, Drilling, and Completions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in Petroleum Engineering
• Minimum of 15+ years experience
• MUST have USA experience
• Experience managing $100 + million dollar budgets
• Demonstrated ability to manage sizable projects.
• An Entrepreneurial spirit – willing to start at the beginning of the project with the bigger picture in mind
