Our client is a Swedish independent oil and natural gas company, operator of Block 15 onshore Oman. The block is located in the northern part of the prolific Omani oil basin. Two sidetracks penetrated two separate reservoirs, the deeper Shuaiba and the shallower Natih reservoirs. Both sidetracks encountered gas. The shallower Natih reservoir was extensively flow tested and has now proved up what appears to be commercial quantities of hydrocarbons.
