<p style="text-align: justify;">THE CANDIDATE:<br />
Our Client is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a strong technical background in the natural sciences or environmental discipline for their Saskatoon office. <span id="more-849"></span>The successful candidate will have a desire to be involved in the regulatory, planning and management aspects of energy projects, with an emphasis on the Oil &amp; Gas market. As a valued member of the Saskatoon office team, you will have the ability to thrive in an atmosphere that supports cooperation and teamwork while contributing to the ongoing development of the energy services sector in the Prairie Provinces and throughout Canada.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>
<ul>
<li> Provide technical leadership in Terrestrial Ecology or Wildlife Biology, including study, design, and application of field techniques, statistical analysis and report preparation</li>
<li>Participate, manage, and coordinate projects in a multidisciplinary environment</li>
<li>Provide leadership in all aspects of project work and business development</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation of proposals and work plans.</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">QUALIFICATIONS:</p>
<ul>
<li> Bachelors Degree in a field directly related to Terrestrial Ecology/Biology</li>
<li>Minimum ten (10) years experience in a field directly related to environmental impact assessment or wildlife biology/terrestrial ecology in a number of sectors including mining, upstream oil and gas, power, and infrastructure</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in an atmosphere that requires cooperation and teamwork to provide quality, solution-oriented consulting services</li>
<li>Experienced in ecological wildlife inventory and monitoring, habitat suitability assessments, habitat mapping, and evaluation</li>
<li>Experienced in developing, executing, and leading terrestrial ecological field programs</li>
<li>Knowledgeable and experienced with terrestrial environmental issues linked to various types of industrial and non-industrial development</li>
<li>Strong written and oral communication skills</li>
<li>Experience with completing and/or managing large environmental assessments</li>
</ul>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span id="more-707"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You will report to the Area Foreman and share responsibility for the care and maintenance of all instrumentation equipment.<br />
The ideal candidate will have an Instrumentation Technologist Diploma with Inter-Provincial Journeyman status.<br />
Applicants with a solid working knowledge of programmable logic controllers, SCADA, SCADA Packs and Fisher Roc will be given preference.<br />
Dual ticket (Journeyman Electrician) will be considered an asset.<br />
Candidates should have a Minimum of Three Years of Industrial Maintenance Experience. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As Plant Foreman of our Client’s Nottingham Gas Plant, located approximately 27 km north of Carnduff, Saskatchewan, you will report to the Saskatchewan Superintendent. You will be responsible for ensuring plant procedures are followed, managing budgets and optimizing production.<br />
The candidate will also ensure all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.<br />
<span id="more-570"></span><br />
To qualify for this position, you have a current safety training certification, hold a minimum Power Engineering Class 3 certificate and have more than 10 years of gas plant experience. You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and have the ability to provide ongoing leadership and supervision to operators within a team environment. Preference will be given to candidates holding a valid Power Engineering Class 2 certificate.</p>
<p>An excellent compensation and benefits package is available for the chosen candidate.</p>
