<p style="text-align: justify;">The client is currently recruiting for Sales Representatives in British Columbia for their Canadian Professional Turf fertilizer business.<br />
Servicing Western Canada, these roles are associated with the corporate office and require incumbents to work from a home office within an assigned geographic territory.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">SALES REPRESENTATIVE, PROFESSIONAL TURF:<br />
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, Professional Turf, this position will be responsible for leading sales initiatives within an assigned geographic territory for the turf market (golf, landscape and professional lawn care). As a member of our professional sales team, you will build strong customer relationships and use your established industry contacts to generate sales and business opportunities with new, as well as existing clients.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:<br />
Achieve and exceed sales goals and planned margins on professional turf product accounts by maintaining the existing customer base and developing the sales territory by attracting new customers and business opportunities<br />
Provide technical knowledge and problem solving expertise to our golf and landscape customers regarding the most effective use and application of products as well as maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge on all aspects of the Professional Turf product line<br />
Introduce new products to customers<br />
Provide input to the Sales and Marketing team on competitive activity and market conditions</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">QUALIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE:<br />
Post-Secondary Education specializing in Turf Management, Business, or Agriculture<br />
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales or related Agri-business roles within the golf, professional lawn care, horticultural or landscape industries<br />
Proven ability to meet sales goals and objectives with analytical and reporting capabilities<br />
Knowledge of fertilizer, pesticides, and marketplace conditions<br />
Highly developed customer service skills with a proven ability to foster strong customer relationships<br />
Motivated, self-starter with results and solution orientation, and the ability to work independently<br />
Excellent communication and presentation skills<br />
Extensive travel within assigned geographic territory required (60-70%)</p>
