			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Our Client provides environmental and project management services to clients in the conventional Oil &amp; Gas and Power Industries. They are also successfully focusing efforts on developing business in emerging energy technologies in Alberta, such as wind and nuclear power generation.<span id="more-844"></span>THE CANDIDATE:<br />
The successful candidate will have a desire to be involved in the environmental planning, permitting, and management aspects of energy projects. As a valued member of the team, you will have the ability to thrive in an atmosphere that supports cooperation and teamwork while contributing to the ongoing development of the power sector throughout Canada. The following responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>
<ul>
<li> Management of Power Transmission projects to complete route selection and environmental assessments</li>
<li>Leading a multi-disciplinary team to complete environmental assessment and permitting reports and applications</li>
<li>Providing senior review of technical reports, proposals and communications</li>
<li>Making presentations and representing the Client at meetings</li>
<li>Client service and business development in the power sector</li>
<li>Ongoing communication with stakeholders and regulators</li>
<li>Preparing proposals</li>
<li>Providing leadership, supervision, training and mentoring of junior staff</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">QUALIFICATIONS:</p>
<ul>
<li> Bachelor’s Degree in the Natural Sciences, Engineering or Environmental discipline</li>
<li>A Minimum of 5 years of Experience, or a Master’s Degree with 3 or more years of equivalent experience</li>
<li>Previous power transmission, pipeline or linear corridor experience with permitting and report writing for environmental assessments and compliance</li>
<li>Knowledge of the provincial (Alberta) and federal regulatory regime for power project development</li>
<li>Knowledge of other provincial jurisdictions would be considered an asset</li>
<li>Proven project management skills</li>
<li>Exhibiting excellent technical writing, communication and project management skills</li>
<li>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated people skills and the ability to work in a team</li>
</ul>
