CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contributing to the overall design, architecture, and build-out of network infrastructure
• Contributing to the overall design, architecture, and deployment of routing policies
• Coordinating tasks with internal groups for the timely and accurate delivery of projects
• Reporting of metrics related to network performance
• Last level of escalation for network related issues and events

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Routing/Switching platforms (Cisco Systems)
• Cisco – 35XX, 38XX, 45XX, 72XX. ASR, Nexus line a plsu!
• Load balancing platforms (Netscaler) and principles
• Firewall platforms (Checkpoint, etc)
• Network IPS appliance platforms (Radware)
• Transport protocols (Ethernet, MPLS, SONET, CWDM/DWDM)
• Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, RIP, etc)
• Network protocols (MPLS, 802.1Q, IPv4/v6, Netflow, etc)
• Some UNIX scripting skills
• 3-5 years experience working in a large service provider environment
• Certifications are a plus – but not a requirement
• Windows Active Directory
• Citrix knowledge a plus
• Exchange knowledge a plus
• Must be customer-focused and able to speak with customers in terms that are easily understandable
• Must able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
• Must be able to work late nights and some weekends
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) IS REQUIRED
• This position is in Greenspoint (Houston), Texas and the successful candidate must already be located in the Houston area.

This sales / client relationship role is responsible for bringing in new business as well as maintaining existing relationships with current customers. This position will require travel to client sites for extended periods up to 85% travel. If based out of Calgary, travel would be 50%. If based out of US or West Coast travel would be 50 – 85%. Critical Qualifications/Competencies: Training, Qualifications and Experience: -University degree in business and other pertinent certifications and 3 to 5 years Sales Experience in the IS/IT industry or in the EAM/ ITSM industry as an Account Consultant OR a combination of college degree with a Sales Experience in the IS/IT industry or in the EAM / ITSM industry as an Account Consultant. Ability to sell O & G product lines to multi- nationals, USA based O & G etc. – Must have CMMS/EAM experience Knowledge: – Strong business acumen, able to connect customer business needs with EAM / ITSM solutions, IBM / MRO Software, Mobile EAM / Inventory and other EAM / ITSM partners. – Comprehensive understanding of current and emerging IT technologies and the EAM ITSM space Results: – Demonstrated results achieved in selling EAM, ITSM, Mobile solutions in the past 18 months – Demonstrated results in the development and the maintenance of a client base – Demonstrated results in a service and product delivery market with success – Demonstrated sales results meeting expectations (quotas between 1 and 3.0 M yearly) – Sales results in network environment, professionals services, product delivery, mobile solutions. Skills / Achievements: – Autonomous – Able to work under pressure in a complex and ambiguous environment – Capacity to explain in plain language complex IS/IT solutions to a non-technical audience – Problem solving skills to spearhead the creation of customized solutions as required to meet customer needs – Able to lead virtual teams and to be recognized as leader by your peers – Capacity to integrate IS/IT knowledge in the development of solutions – Capacity to prospect, qualify and propose complex solutions – Capacity to develop account strategies and to implement with success – Ability to communicate orally and to write business documents English, written and spoken skill in French and Spanish languages is desirable.

The immediate engagement will be based in Calgary Alberta managing a Maximo EAM project in the Oil / Gas sector – however preference will be given to those with multi-industry experience.
