THE POSITION:
• The successful Candidate will be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide seasoned Exploitation and Production Engineering expertise.
• This is a Calgary based International opportunity to work in a fast paced and challenging environment for a dynamic, growth orientated Junior Oil & Gas company focused on international opportunities – excellent “ground floor” opportunity.
• Prime responsibility will be the Exploitation/Production Engineering of a non-operated Gas field in Turkey with approximately 200 wells producing 25 MMscf/d to 30 MMscf/d.
• Candidate needs to be a self-starter with a “can do” attitude who is comfortable and effective working in an international environment where data gaps and cultural sensitivities require competent management. Read more of this >>

Require individual with between 5-15 years direct Oil and Gas Experience
Position Reports to V.P. Engineering
Major Job Functions in order of importance include:
· Corporate Reserves Coordination
Ø Annually Reserves
Ø Ongoing Reserve monitoring
· Reservoir / Economic Evaluations
Ø Well Test analysis
Ø Reserve determinations
Ø EUB Applications
Ø Pool Depletion Monitoring / strategies
Ø Downspacing / enhanced Recovery Schemes
Ø Economic evaluations
· Exploitation Functions
Ø Identify business opportunities in core areas
§ Acquisition candidates
§ Farm-in / well participations
Ø Well reviews / recompletion opportunities
Ø General understanding of geology to assist exploration staff
· Joint Venture Functions
Ø Monitoring performance / JVBs of Joint operations
Ø Acting as Joint venture rep
Ø Joint venture agreement activities
Skill set required:
Ø Experience with annual corporate reserve work
Ø Knowledge of EUB application submission, regulations and retrieval of public data.
Ø Experience in PTA work.
Ø Understanding of Reserve determination and economics.
Ø Ability to identify reservoir enhancement opportunities.
Ø Understanding of production operations (well file reviews).
Ø Experience in exploitation and identifying new opportunities.
Ø Experience in reviewing acquisition assets/candidates.
Ø General knowledge of land and geology to assist groups.
Ø General knowledge of Joint Venture functions and workings.
Ø Computer skills in Geoscout/Accumap, Mosaic, Fekete software, and other industry engineering applications.
