This position is accountable for the integration, and field preparedness of new and commercialized technology; R and M strategies for existing technology ensuring the latest, best maintained equipment is available to the Operations Department. They will be responsible for the ongoing technical development of<br />
current commercial products lines. All physical assets and branches will be the<br />

<li>Provide the prime communications conduit between internal and external customers in terms of following up on reliability issues identified in the field and in ensuring continuous improvement actions are properly implemented in Operations</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Will have the ability to influence the technical directions that Operations Department pursues. Will work closely with the Canadian Operations Manager and Vice President – Canada to optimize the commercial performance of all new and existing technology</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Work with the marketing function as a team member to define competitive opportunities for new product development</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Develop and implement commercialization plans in conjunction with operations for any new product lines</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Prime communications between Controller and Materials Management</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Provide new technical information to operations through client visits</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Manage and mentor MWD Product Line Manager, Downhole Product Line Manager, branch supervisors, all motor and MWD repair and maintenance facilities and vendors</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Manage and mentor Professional Engineers in theTechnical Support Group</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Responsible for all quality assurance system (SQI) and the accurate reporting of performance incidents</li>

<li>Responsible for maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base on all new technology by learning new technology as it becomes available</li>
<li>Possess strong technical qualifications and high standards of work along with specialized technical knowledge</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring safety policy and practices are consistently followed</li>

<p>Education/ Experience</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum or Electronics Engineering</li>
<li>Minimum 10 years of direct directional drilling operations experience</li>
<li>Minimum 15 years of management experience in the oil and gas industry</li>
<li>Experienced with downhole drilling assets</li>
<li>Experienced in budgeting, and capital vs expense strategies</li>

<li>Develop new clients for the company primarily through face to face visits and presentations, supplemented by phone and e-mail</li>
<li>Responsible for client maintenance with current customers</li>
<li>Target accounts and remain in close contact with all/potential contacts</li>
<li>Prepare bids and proposals for submission to clients</li>
<li>Maintain contact database to ensure long-term contract continuity</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>A technical diploma or degree in geological or petroleum technology would be an asset</li>
<li>3-5 years sales experience in the oil and gas industry</li>
<li>Outgoing, goal orientated, trustworthy, reliable</li>
<li>Wants to hunt and is driven to succeed</li>
</ul>

<p style="text-align: justify;">They are looking for an ambitious self motivated Sales Manager to coordinate its Sales activities in the Far East/Asia Region.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The successful candidate will report to the VP Sales and be responsible for providing forecasts and reports for his/her designated area on regular basis.<span id="more-850"></span>QUALIFICATIONS:</p>
<ul>
<li> Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales</li>
<li>Degree in a related discipline</li>
<li>Previous Software/Hardware Sales</li>
<li>Data Management, IT, Software Sales to the Geological Community</li>
<li>Ability to work unsupervised, will work remotely from home</li>
<li>Proven track record in sales</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Willingness to travel as and when required (minimal)</li>
<li>Knowledge of Well Logs and their application would be advantageous</li>
<li>Live in the Far East/Asia</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>
<ul>
<li> Make sales calls to new and existing customers</li>
<li>Develop sales proposals</li>
<li>Provide product demonstrations to new and existing clients</li>
<li>Provide local support for products</li>
<li>Maintain sales activity records and reports</li>
<li>Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Salary and package commensurate with experience</p>
