			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">This position involves directing and overseeing the following areas of responsibility:</p>
<ul>
<li>Assisting with standardization and streamlining of procedures, reporting and presentation between the properties</li>
<li>Coordinating and participating in the annual Business Plan process</li>
<li>Ensuring continuous forecasting is maintained for the property</li>
<li>Assisting with and reviewing of the interim and year-end audit working papers from each of the projects. Overseeing the annual statement of operating costs and real estate tax costs adjustment procedures as it relates to the property.</li>
<li>Ad hoc reporting requirements<span id="more-1004"></span></li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Management of the accounting department for the property including:</p>
<ul>
<li> Communicating Corporate requirements</li>
<li>Coordinating timing of deadlines, projects, and resources</li>
<li>Reviewing and approving monthly and quarterly reporting on both GAAP and IFRS basis</li>
<li>Responsible for the monthly and quarterly reporting requirements for co-owners, including cash distribution and monthly forecast</li>
<li>Supervising and training staff as required</li>
<li>Participating in monthly accounting meetings and property meetings with the Property Manager</li>
<li>Assisting the Asset Management group and Property Manager as needed</li>
<li>Assisting with reviews and approving year end audits</li>
<li>Assisting with reviews and approving forecasting and budgeting</li>
<li>Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are kept up to date and outstanding items are reasonable, coordinating cleanup</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Qualifications:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">EXPERIENCE:</p>
<ul>
<li> Minimum of 6 years experience in a Property Accounting environment preferably with a minimum of 3 years in a management capacity.</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">EDUCATION/DESIGNATIONS/LICENSES:</p>
<ul>
<li> University or community college degree in accounting and professional accounting designation, CA, CGA or CMA is desired with consideration for level 4 candidates. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;">TECHNICAL SKILLS:</p>
<ul>
<li> Advanced level MS Excel and MS Word. Solid working knowledge of accounting software preferred (CTI, Dyna and Hyperion).</li>
<li>Ability to prepare and review financial statements, cash management, budget and forecast preparation, audit working papers, tenant operating costs, real estate tax cost adjustments and variance analysis.</li>
<li>Must be able to critique and propose changes to monthly financial statements.</li>
