Network Administrator/Tech 101-411 – Calgary, Alberta

Responsibilities are (but are not limited to):

• Network traffic monitoring
• System performance monitoring
• Troubleshooting hardware and software problems
• Perform configuration changes to the network monitoring tools
• Create, update, and review the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Maintain and Administer Windows Server environment.
• Ability to travel out to worksites to troubleshoot issues for a client
• Must be comfortable climbing a tower 50f or greater.
• 60% desk work & 40% field work.
• Flexibility to work on call after business hours for emergency issues for a client

Experience/Education Requirements:

• 2 year technical diploma or greater.
• 2+ year experience as Network Administrator
• Cisco CCNA or greater
• Linux Server environment Administrator.
• Shell scripting (sh, bash, perl, etc.)

An Asset but not required:
• Windows Server environment Administrator.
• Familiarity with VoIP environments.
• Understanding of SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, MSQL, etc)
• Understanding of Commercial Grade Wireless Networking equipment.
• Web Programming experience (PHP, ASP, Python, etc)

As the Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the President

RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but will not be limited to
• Design, develop and manage marketing plans, campaigns and deliverables
• Deliver key marketing programs and activities for assigned product/solution lines
• Write and edit material
• Manage external providers such as web and design firms
• Identify opportunities for growing the company’s position in the marketplace
• Correspond with potential clients and be responsible for setting up marketing/sales meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:
• MUST have a Bachelor’s Degree
• Several years of Marketing and/or Communications Experience
• Preferred Experience with Security and Defence companies
• MUST have Military Service Experience in perimeter and/or force protection disciplines

• Attend conferences and exhibits to promote the company’s products and services and to provide information to interested parties.
• Take measurements for equipment that is on loan and for the maintenance and security of equipment for sale or demonstration
• Be accountable for outstanding A/R

Our Client is a very exciting, private ERP Consulting firm with a current team of 9 and they are searching for knowledgeable and professional Emergency Response Planners in a part time or full time capacity.

Preferred Candidates will possess experience at both the corporate and field level in consulting for projects in the areas of field audits and inspections, job hazard assessments, corporate program reviews and analysis, training and orientations etc with industry oil and gas clients. Ideal candidate will have 5 + years experience and can present with ease in both corporate professional settings and in the field. Emergency Response and Pipeline experience is an asset. The best part about this Company is that the ERP has the ability to work the Client file from start to finish.
