As a dynamic and growing organization, our client has an immediate opening for an experienced professional in the position of Contracts Landman.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare formal legal land contracts to implement deals negotiated by Negotiators
• Communicate terms of Agreements and consequences to stakeholders
• Understand and interpret existing land agreements to facilitate operations and decision making
• Understand and interpret existing land agreements to handle queries/demands from both internal and external sources
• Handle on-going contract maintenance issues

Education and Experience
The education and experience required for the role of the Contracts Landman are as follows:

• Related post-secondary education
• 10 years plus experience
• CS Explorer, Accumap, Well View, Microsoft Office

Skills and Abilities
The skills and abilities required for the Contracts Landman role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Above average organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of Canadian P&NG regulations, operating procedures, joint venture agreements and negotiations when drafting and reviewing agreements
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent attention to detail while maintaining highest level of efficiency
• Professional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Results oriented and hardworking, able to meet all deadlines
