Contracts Landman 101-437 – Calgary, Alberta
As a dynamic and growing organization, our client has an immediate opening for an experienced professional in the position of Contracts Landman.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare formal legal land contracts to implement deals negotiated by Negotiators
- Communicate terms of Agreements and consequences to stakeholders
- Understand and interpret existing land agreements to facilitate operations and decision making
- Understand and interpret existing land agreements to handle queries/demands from both internal and external sources
- Handle on-going contract maintenance issues
Education and Experience
The education and experience required for the role of the Contracts Landman are as follows:
- Related post-secondary education
- 10 years plus experience
- CS Explorer, Accumap, Well View, Microsoft Office
Skills and Abilities
The skills and abilities required for the Contracts Landman role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Above average organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of Canadian P&NG regulations, operating procedures, joint venture agreements and negotiations when drafting and reviewing agreements
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent attention to detail while maintaining highest level of efficiency
- Professional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Results oriented and hardworking, able to meet all deadlines
