Business Development Director 101-274 – Calgary, Alberta

Our Client is a leader in the fractional aviation business in Canada, with an amazing team, wanting to grow their market share in the Western Canadian region.

This is a key position, and the successful candidate must be able to leverage their existing client base, while increasing their C-suite sales development through exceptional business development efforts. Strong analytical and strategic selling skills are another must. The opportunity for a new hire is endless!

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales Processes/Tools

  • Responsible for the development and growth of Our Client’s fractional share sales in their region
  • Require a successful track record in C-Suite sales development, qualifying, solution identification and closing
  • Broad based network in the western region business community
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with Business Development experience
  • Background with development and tracking of Strategic Sales and Marketing Plans
  • High energy profile with prospecting and cold call experience – lead generation
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Tech savvy individual accustomed to CRM sales systems and Microsoft Office
  • Team player
  • Aviation experience an asset

Marketing:

  • Support, as required, company and regional marketing/demand-driven campaigns and trade shows in region
  • Contribute to the marketing team with ideas and support for PR activities to increase brand awareness in region

Event Coordination:

  • Suggest, support and assist with the planning of future regional business development events

Other Key Tasks:

  • Community service volunteer.
