Production and Operations Analyst (Calgary, Alberta) 101-235
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Technical and Administrative Assistance to the Production Operations Group as needed with focus on current production reporting.
This role will report directly to the VP of Operations
Minimum of 5 years O&G experienceSPECIFIC TASKS:
PRODUCTION ENGINEERING
- Review current production rates from wells and liaison with field operations
- Evaluate and managing potential optimization projects to improve production
- Review lease ops and evaluate potential areas for reducing operating expenses
AVOCET PRODUCTION DATABASE
- General management of the database, users and security settings
- New well and facility set up and maintenance of the database
- Creating reports as needed by users
- Support for Production accountants with reports and errors/omissions in data entry
- Current production reporting for partners
WEEKLY PRODUCTION REPORTING
- Importing data and checking field data entry weekly
- Updating the weekly production report spreadsheet
- Comparing field estimates to actual (production accounting and/or financials) monthly
MASTER WELL LIST
- Maintenance of the master well list
- Providing data from the master well list as need to various departments
REGULATORY
- Respond to ERCB and Alberta Environment field inspections and queries
- Written responses to ERCB and OGC for various production operations issues
- Ordering signs and stickers for new wells
DIRECT REPORTS:
- Corporate Production Report distributed weekly on Mondays
- HSE Report Summary distributed quarterly
- Various production estimate reports at corporate, area or the field level as needed
