Volunteer Campaign Staff; Administrative roles, Fundraisers & Membership Sales
The office is in Calgary and they are currently looking for volunteers to:
-phone
-stuff envelopes
-data entry
-administrative work
For volunteers outside of Calgary they need people to Sell Memberships and Fundraise.
By calling their office with your info, they can send volunteers a membership book and brochures to help with sales and fundraising.
HEALTH:
Danielle believes Alberta can maintain its universal health care system while eliminating waiting lists. By applying what’s working in at least eight international jurisdictions Alberta can provide more and better health care services for the same or less money.
Danielle’s priorities are:
- Getting spending under control
- Working within the Canada Health Act
- Implementing activity-based funding
- Expanding health delivery opportunities
DEMOCRATIC REFORM:
Danielle believes in democratic decision-making, both internally for party matters and externally in government. She has been a long-time advocate for direct democracy and free speech, the first principle of self government.
Danielle’s priorities are:
- Reining in the Human Rights Commission
- Fixed election dates
- Citizen initiative, referenda and recall
- Senate elections
PROPERTY RIGHTS:
Danielle believes property rights are the foundation for your family’s financial security and prosperity. She believes private property should not be expropriated or devalued by government action without fair and prompt payment.
Danielle’s priorities are:
- Entrenching property rights in law
- Full compensation for losses
- Conservation through secure tenure
- Improving arbitration methods
ENERGY:
Danielle will encourage developing viable energy options while protecting our prosperity, opportunities and job security. She believes Alberta must remain internationally competitive as a safe, reliable and attractive jurisdiction for hydrocarbon investment and development.
Danielle’s priorities are:
- Repairing the New Royalty Framework
- Developing our bountiful energy resources
- Environmental sustainability
- Respecting contracts
ENVIRONMENT:
Danielle believes in responsible resource use. She believes Alberta must commit to minimize the environmental impacts of development, and restore the environment to a healthful state once intensive development is completed.
Danielle’s priorities are:
- Energy conservation and diversification
- Ending the $2B carbon capture fund
- Exporting our “green” technologies
- Cleaning up toxic wastes
