This “hybrid” law firm and corporate sales position exists to drive new and repeat sales of Litigation Support and eDiscovery services to top law firms and corporations.
The primary focus will be to penetrate new accounts and to drive new sales and repeat sales with targeted accounts in a designated territory. The Senior Account Executive position is a highly leveraged position and attainment of revenue quotas and other metrics are paramount.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Achieve revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. In addition, achieve other sales metrics established by Sales Management.
2. Effectively manage opportunities identified throughout the sales cycle, add requisite new opportunities to pipeline on a regular basis while consistently closing required number of new projects on a monthly basis.
3. Work effectively and efficiently with the Sales Management, Senior Management and other colleagues to identify opportunities and drive sales to closure.
4. Provide Sales Management with regular updates with respect to all sales opportunities through timely reporting and regular updates to internal CRM application.
5. Obtain and provide Sales Management with regular updates with respect to territory, market, and competitive information.
6. Attends sales meetings, training sessions and conferences as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. In-depth knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques typically gained through 10 or more years of successful, high level, consultative sales experience.
2. BA/B.Sc. Level Degree.
3. Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on revenue generation.
4. Highly developed executive presentation skills, including ability to influence and persuade decision makers at all levels.
5. Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, team oriented environment where effective team selling is critical to success.
6. Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong technical skills and knowledge of the full suite of MS Office applications.
8. Self-motivated and driven to over-achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
9. Infrequent overnight travel may be required.
PREMIUM SKILLS:
The following is a list of the skill sets that could increase the candidate’s likelihood of success:
1. Recent experience in litigation support or experience selling litigation support applications/services to law firm clients or corporate legal departments including eDiscovery services and tools or paper-based scanning, coding, and printing services.
2. An understanding of the legal environment, law practice work flow, litigation practices and procedures.
3. Working knowledge of in-house document management systems.
4. Working knowledge of email systems including: Exchange, Lotus Notes, GroupWise.
