Process Engineer for North Africa, Rotation 100-794 – Libya
Our client is a specialised Valve Management and valve refurbishment company providing high quality service and support to industries as diverse as oil & gas, paper & pulp production, power generation and industrial & chemical process.
They are currently searching for a Process Engineer for North Africa on rotation.
Qualification requirement
· Degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng,).
· Experience level needed for Senior Process Engineers extensive Oil & Gas Process Engineering experience with Design Consultants out of which would have been in design of Upstream Oil and Gas projects.
General requirement:
· Fluent spoken and written English.
Specific requirements
· Must have sound skills in Process applications and hands on experience in using
special purpose software.
· To establish the actual capacities and capabilities of existing field facilities in order to identify potential bottlenecks and scope for optimization.
· To develop sound process engineering designs against a backdrop of uncertain/changing design parameters (e.g. production forecasts). To strike the right balance between the application of conventional and new technology.
· To carry out screening studies and develop process schematics for the Company
· Conceptual Engineers in support of potential engineering projects.
· To carry out process simulations and optimization studies for selected projects and
prepare Process Flow Schemes with mass balances and equipment sizes.
· To provide detailed Process Engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation of standards.
· To review any process design work carried out by third parties (vendors), and to participate in, and in some instances lead, Hazops, Safety and Facility audits
· To identify potential applications for new technology.
