101-173 Pipeline Integrity Coordinator – Calgary
Reporting to the Manager, Integrity Engineering, you will be responsible for the effectiveness of our client’s Pipeline Integrity Management Program.
You will ensure the program’s quality control requirements and pipeline regulatory requirements—for both Alberta and Saskatchewan— are met.
Assisting with the development of pipeline integrity technical standards and specifications, including Line-a log/riser, coupon and batch design, will be required.
To qualify for this position, you are a
Certified Engineering Technologist specializing in materials or corrosion or you have a Bachelor
of Science degree in Engineering with pipeline-related experience.
You are a member of N.A.C.E.;
have proven experience in pipeline integrity management;
and have experience implementing corrosion mitigation strategies and completing corrosion coupon compliance evaluations.
A strong understanding of applicable codes;
OH&S regulations;
ERCB Pipeline Act and Regulations;
ERCB Guide 56 and 66; and Directive 41 are also required.
A pro-active self-starter with excellent communication skills, you are proficient at using relevant computer programs including Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and email.
You are also a leader who can motivate and coach staff to help them met quality control requirements.
Strong organization and planning skills are also necessary to excel in this position.
