100-924 (Contract) Reservoir Engineer (Calgary) (large, public O&G producer)
Our Client is a large, public, oil and gas producer company looking for a (Contract) Reservoir Engineer (Calgary).
Our Client has an excellent contract opportunity for a highly motivated Reservoir Engineer. As an integral member of our technical team, you will assist in evaluating exploitation and development opportunities in our area. You will be accountable for generating a long range plan based on current reservoir performance, resource assessment and various development options.
Responsibilities:
· work with the technical team to create a long range plan (LRP) that incorporates drilling, optimization, and facility consolidation in order to maximize value generation for the property
· prepare field depletion strategies to enhance recovery
· provide key input to the annual URP (Unbooked Resource Potential) and budget processes
· coordinate annual reserve audits
· provide reservoir management expertise, including tracking well and pool performance using decline analysis, pressure transient analysis, and material balance
Qualifications:
· must be legally entitled to work in Canada
· P.Eng with approximately 10+ years related experience
· strong quantitative analysis and reservoir engineering skills
· experience with economic analysis
· ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
· experience with pressure transient analysis would be an asset
· knowledge of production engineering issues and optimization would be an asset.
