100-921 Project Manager (South Australia) (large, public, O&G producer)
Our Client is a major Australian, Public, O&G Exploration and Production company. They require a Project Manager. Our Client is embarking on the first stage of an exciting and world class carbon storage project with significant potential for climate change response.
Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) is the process by which CO2 is removed from the exhaust stream of powerstations, compressed & transported in pipelines, to be injected into deep reservoirs for long-term geological containment. If fossil fuels are to continue to be combusted to generate electricity then CCS will be the primary technology to manage the resultant CO2.
Reporting to the Manager Development Projects, you will provide project management for an experienced team of oil and gas professionals. You will apply your mentoring, governance and leadership skills through the concept, design, FEED and implementation phases of this innovative and leading edge $1 billion project to deliver on the safety, environmental, technical, cost, quality and schedule requirements of the project.
Tertiary qualified, you have exceptional project management and leadership skills and significant experience in Oil and Gas. In addition, you have substantial business, planning or analytical experience in a resource or energy environment, strong commercial negotiation expertise and ideally a grasp of climate change issues relevant to hydrocarbon exploration and production.
