The EAM Business Development Manager role reports to Director, Canadian Operations and President / CEO.
This sales / client relationship role is responsible for bringing in new business as well as maintaining existing relationships with current customers. Job Duties/Accountabilities : – Prospecting and qualifying new EAM / ITSM / Mobile solutions opportunities – Responding to qualified Sales leads from the EAM/ITSM sales channel within North America – Champion complex solutions to meet EAM/ITSM customer requirements, build virtual teams, lead and co-ordinate the team’s response – Manage customer relationship; develop sales strategies – Develop & present complex solution business cases & technical concepts as required – Develop, present and execute quarterly sales territory plans – Prepares and conducts presentations at senior management levels – Coordinate and follow up on administrative activities of his role This positions reports to a Director, Canadian Operations (Toronto) and President/CEO (California). This position will require travel to client sites for extended periods up to 85% travel. If based out of Calgary, travel would be 50%. If based out of US or West Coast travel would be 50 – 85%. Candidate will be required to obtain appropriate immigration status to permit travel / work in Canada and the USA. Potential for international travel and engagement.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies: Training, Qualifications and Experience: -University degree in business and other pertinent certifications and 3 to 5 years Sales Experience in the IS/IT industry or in the EAM/ ITSM industry as an Account Consultant OR a combination of college degree with a Sales Experience in the IS/IT industry or in the EAM / ITSM industry as an Account Consultant. Ability to sell O & G product lines to multi- nationals, USA based O & G etc. – Must have CMMS/EAM experience Knowledge: – Strong business acumen, able to connect customer business needs with EAM / ITSM solutions, IBM / MRO Software, Mobile EAM / Inventory and other EAM / ITSM partners. – Comprehensive understanding of current and emerging IT technologies and the EAM ITSM space Results: – Demonstrated results achieved in selling EAM, ITSM, Mobile solutions in the past 18 months – Demonstrated results in the development and the maintenance of a client base – Demonstrated results in a service and product delivery market with success – Demonstrated sales results meeting expectations (quotas between 1 and 3.0 M yearly) – Sales results in network environment, professionals services, product delivery, mobile solutions. Skills / Achievements: – Autonomous – Able to work under pressure in a complex and ambiguous environment – Capacity to explain in plain language complex IS/IT solutions to a non-technical audience – Problem solving skills to spearhead the creation of customized solutions as required to meet customer needs – Able to lead virtual teams and to be recognized as leader by your peers – Capacity to integrate IS/IT knowledge in the development of solutions – Capacity to prospect, qualify and propose complex solutions – Capacity to develop account strategies and to implement with success – Ability to communicate orally and to write business documents English, written and spoken skill in French and Spanish languages is desirable.
