We are currently seeking junior to senior leader level, gas and oil production engineering personnel.
If you are looking to put your well rounded business, technical, and leadership skills to work in a challenging environment, or wish to develop skills amidst a vibrant and dynamic gas production optimization team working both conventional and leading edge production technology then our client is for you. The Production Optimisation group is responsible for optimizing gas and volatile oil production from over 700 producing wells from numerous fields within the onshore Cooper and Amadeus Basins (located in South Australia, Queensland and Northern Territory).
Wells produce from lower permeability fluvial- lacustrine interbedded sand, shale and coal sequences at depths from 7,000 to 11,000 ft. Typical activities include reviewing the large onshore gas production well production and developing opportunities with multidisciplinary teams for production enhancement investments and project implementation. This can range from the well known mainstream production enhancement techniques to developing new technology solutions within Australia.
Some of the current leading edge production optimizing work includes compression optimisation, work with foaming techniques for deliquification for both in conventional and non- conventional mainstream applications, relative permeability modifier work and continuous batch surface surfactant injection.
Enhanced oil recovery work in volatile oil reservoirs is a growing focus area requiring production engineering design input into development schemes, setting up and implementing surveillance programs through to field testing novel artificial lift methods.
