An East Kootenay based construction company has immediate openings. Key areas of work include earthworks, roadworks and deep services contracts.
Site Project Manager
The successful candidate will have post secondary in engineering, with minimum 5 years relevant work experience in project management. Proven leadership and communication skills are required. Key areas of responsibility include:
· Plan/organize/direct/control daily operations at multiple construction sites
· Manage a work force of up to 30 personnel.
· Supervise activities of sub-contractors.
· Implement and control all aspects of on site safety and quality control programs.
· Formal reporting of activities to corporate office.
Estimator
The successful candidate will have post secondary in engineering, with minimum 5 years relevant work experience in construction estimating. Proven communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment are required.
Key areas of responsibility include:
· Prepare and submit project tenders and budgets.
· Analysis and reporting of actual results to budget.
· Formal reporting of activities to corporate office.
